Preparing for the arrival of your new baby can bring about both excitement and anxiety. This comprehensive program will prepare you and your partner for the birth of your baby and the transition into early parenthood.
These classes are informative, inclusive and interactive and the program was created by a Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse/ Lactation Consultant and Clinical Social Worker.
Some of the topics covered include:
- Prenatal Nutrition: essential nutrients, supplementation, navigating common ailments, eating safely and gestational diabetes
- Labour and Delivery: what to expect, interventions and options and how to prepare
- Perinatal mental health: baby blues, postpartum depression, coping strategies
- Postpartum: recovery and care, lactation, feeding your baby, newborn care
- Postpartum Nutrition: maternal diet, Breastmilk alternatives, infant growth monitoring
- Parental Mental health: 'Ugly truths' of parenthood, ways to cope, partner relationships ... and SO much more

Co-ed social-emotional connection group for neurodivergent kids/youth ages 10-13 years and 14-17 years. The Main themes covered include:

Facilitators: The Aphasia Support Group is led by Breanna Wieler - Registered Speech Language Pathologist & Renee Zorz - Social Worker who has experience with facilitating Aphasia groups.

The team at Abeille Airdrie Midwives is delighted to host group prenatal care at 24-28 weeks of pregnancy.
These special 90-minute sessions include topics about preparing for labour, and birth, all while you build relationships with other pregnant people at the same age-and-stage as you!
Are you ready for a date-night with other people who are about to have a baby, too? This is one of the highlights of our midwifery client's prenatal experience.
Enjoy a night out at 525 Woodside Drive and taste delicious foods while you and your birth support person learn about what you can expect with a midwifery-led birth experience.

Special programming suited to children aged 4-8 years. Summer camp is hosted at 100 Words Playschool in Airdrie, AB.
Program is designed to encourage social communication, speech & language development and skill-building, and uses sensory play-based learning.
Parents will be provided with speech & language handouts throughout the week that outlines strategies for practicing at-home.

Beats By The Feet offers fitness classes such as Zumba and Mom & Baby fitness.
It also offers Zumbini classes which is an early
program that uses music, movement and instrument play to develop a child’s social, emotional and motor skills.
Shannon has a passion for teaching, children and dancing, and after the birth of her first son she decided to turn those passions into a small business offering a few selections of classes in Airdrie.
Zumbini
Zumbini is an early childhood program that uses music, movement and instrument play to develop a child’s social, emotional and motor skills.
It is designed for children 0-5 years old and their parents, and this is one of the only classes in Airdrie where siblings can attend the class together with a parent.

Baby Steps
Baby Steps is a parent & baby exercise class.
The parent wears the baby in the carrier for 30 minutes of gentle cardio, and the class ends with 15 minutes of stretching and 15 minutes to chat.
